Welcome to Imperial Personal Management
Now that your child is represented by Imperial Personal Management, there are several things that take place in the process of casting, booking and production. This page is dedicated to helping parents/guardians navigate the process of professional film, television and commercial casting.
Casting Suggestions:
Our process of submitting your child (via Spotlight, Casting Networks etc) is as follows:
We ask permission before submissions are sent to casting directors.
- Be sure to read our texts in full, as we will always give all the details that we possibly can about a production, casting and dates.
- In addition to casting submissions we will put out campaigns and various ways to get your child seen by casting directors.

Auditions & Recalls
Once a Casting Director has contacted us in regards to an audition, we must go with what time slot they have assigned. It is essential that actors are on time for their audition as they will not be given another opportunity if it is missed.
It is much more beneficial for an actor to be seen by a casting director in person, it is their chance to shine and show who they are as a person and performer.
Rarely do commercial castings allow self-tapes, it is important that you understand that once you have said yes to us submitting your child for a casting, that making the audition is a must.
Recalls are a second call for auditions. This means that it is between a select few for the role. If you are asked for a recall, it is just as important as the first audition and you must be prepared for a fast turn around on the callback to return for a recall.

Booking a Job
Licensing
We all love the feeling of booking a job, especially for such talented kids. So it is important that when we get the call that your child has been booked, we begin the process of licensing.
Licensing is done through the county council, this is why we must know the district which you pay taxes to. Licensing submissions can vary on length of time it takes to process an application and receive the license. All paperwork must be filled out by parents and the child's school in a timely manner.
Failure to complete licensing will mean loss of contract with production.
If your child has completed their GCSE's or is 16, then licensing will not be a part of the process in booking a job.

Chaperones
All children need a Chaperone on set. Chaperone fees do apply to most productions. Companies such as the BBC, ITV etc. do however supply their own licensed chaperones due to new company policies.
If you or your partner are unable to chaperone, a family member can be elected to go in your place to chaperone should a child's own chaperone be needed.

Booking Details
We are given all the details for filming as soon as they are available.
Dates are put in place when script and schedules are finalised, though they are subject to change.
Schedules are know to come through last minute, so please do understand that we can only give out details if we have it. Alternatively, production will contact you themselves, in which case we are obligated to pass on your details to the Production Co-ordinator for those purposes.
