Registering online with IPM, does not guarantee you will be entered on to our main casting directory. You may however be offered work on productions as a result of this registration.
Information provided on IPM registration form may be entered onto our computer database and your pictures and profile may be used on IPM Website. By registering with IPM as an artiste you agree to the following terms and conditions. It is your responsibility to Keep up-to-date with these Terms & Conditions. |

Actors T&C's
Protecting your Information
IPM will maintain all data provided by artistes in accordance with requirements and principles of the Data protection Act 1998 Chapter 29.
Your Responsibilities
If you accept a booking we will expect you to attend. If for a specific reason you cannot attend, you must inform IPM immediately so that we, in turn, can inform the client and, if necessary, replace you. Notice of cancellation must be given via telephone (07890387758 or 01132443222. You must make sure you speak with a member of IPM as all bookings are imperative to production ( a family member or friend may also make the call on your behalf should you been unable to), a follow up email should also be submitted. We require a minimum of 24 hours notice.
When accepting a booking from us you must contact us the day before to get your call time (preferably between 4pm and 5.30pm) although you may receive calls outside of these times. Please acknowledge immediately any messages left for you by IPM relating to work from us, whether you are available or not. Please keep a record of all bookings with dates, times, companies, hours worked etc.
Please arrive early for work. If you are going to be late please contact IPM immediately to advise us what time you expect to arrive so that we may inform the production company. On the day of work, please make sure that you sign in and out (if required to do so).
Please keep us up to date with your body measurements and let us know of any changes to those or any major changes to your appearance.
It is your responsibility to keep up-to-date with any and all Terms and Conditions.
Money Matters
Payment to the “artiste” is in accordance with the employment agencies Regulations of 2003, we do not hold on to artistes money and never pay beyond the rules. You must not discuss money or fees with anyone whilst working for this agency
Commission is due to IPM on any professional work obtained directly or indirectly. If any clients/casting directors/productions contact the “Artiste” directly, they will immediately inform IPM. IPM will be the agency of record and be paid agency commissions as per this contract appropriately. Actors fees typically come to the agency. However, if the “Artiste” receives any monies directly from a clients/casting directors/productions the “Artiste” will immediately forward the commission via Cheque or BACs payment to IPM.
We endeavor to pay the artist within ten working days of receipt of correct payment from the client. Payments to artists will only be made once the corresponding payments from the client are received and cleared through IPM. IPM does not accept liability for bankrupt or defaulting clients who owe fees to artists, although every attempt possible will be made by IPM to recover your money.
Payments, made to IPM may come from different companies and may not necessarily be paid in the order in which your jobs were completed. Should you not fulfil, or be late for any booking, you shall be responsible for any waiting time or fees incurred. Should you fail to turn up for a booking without giving prior notice and without good reason, your name may be removed from the IPM register.
Behaviour
We pride ourselves on the behaviour and professionalism of our artistes, therefore failure to turn up for medical reasons must be supported by a doctors note (on request by IPM).
If you accept a booking with IPM and do not turn up, or cancel without correct notice, at the discretion of IPM; you will be subject to a penalty payment equal to the commission rate - at a full daily rate.
Social Networks
We reserve the rights to remove, or request the removal, of any inappropriate or unsolicited material, from any social media networks which/if it has anything “IPM” deem unacceptable in reference to “IPM” or its clients i.e. Facebook, Instagram & Twitter.
“Artises” that post inappropriate material or are deemed to be damaging the reputation of “IPM”, will be subject to dismissal in accordance with IPM Terms and Conditions.
“Artistes” should never distribute pictures or imagery on any social networks relating to production, scripts, sets or equipment; This is at the request of production due to copyright reasons.
Photography
We Reserve the right to ask that all provided photography (headshots) for the online database must be professional and approved by IPM. You can organise your own photography, but it should not look like a personal snapshot I.e. holiday snap. We stipulate this to keep a level of professionalism and enable casting opportunities.
All Photography submitted to IPM must have been taken within the two year period prior to submission.
IPM does not claim ownership of any Content that you provide. Instead, you hereby grant to IPM a non-exclusive, fully paid and royalty-free, transferable, sub-licensable, worldwide license to use the Content that you provide, subject to our Privacy Policy.
We may also display advertisements and promotions, and you hereby agree that IPM may place such advertising and promotions on, about, or in conjunction with your Content. The manner, mode and extent of such advertising and promotions are subject to change without specific notice to you.

All rates quoted to artists are quoted before any deductions are taken. These deductions can include but are not limited to; commission, agency fees* and national insurance (if applicable).
Payments to Artistes
IPM pay through the BACS system direct into your bank account. You will be sent a remittance advice/Invoice detailing what has been paid into your account. Please check both your bank statements and our remittance/Invoice advice carefully. We will always try to answer any questions about fees due to you. Should you fail to receive payment after a reasonable period, please inform us immediately. We will require you to provide us with the name of the Production AND the date you worked, before we can proceed.
Please allow between 6 - 8 weeks for payment to reach your account. We must wait until the production company has made payment to us before we can transfer money to you.
You understand and agree that you are not an employee of IPM. Rather, You agree that you are retaining us to perform services for you, for the purposes of this agreement IPM will be operating as an employment agency. You agree that you will be classed as self-employed and responsible for your own Tax and National Insurance, on occasion production companies will organise NI therefore IPM will provide required details.

All rates quoted to the “artiste” are quoted before any deductions are taken. These deductions can include but are not limited to; commission, agency fees and national insurance (if applicable).

We take 10% to 20% commission for work booked, the set commission for individual artistes and work can be found in your personal contract.

The artist is reminded that script and programme confidentiality is vital and that you must not disclose information about any character or filming content without prior permission from IPM or the Production company. We expect our actors to maintain a professional standard at all times.
